Vaccuming

Manze got a vaccum cleaner for her birthday with a detachable dust buster and she has been a cleaning machine! She loves to vaccum...now if only it were real!

Sleepy girl

I noticed how quiet it was and went into my bedroom to find this! How sweet!

Birthday Party at The Play Place

On Saturday the 19th, Manze and Richard had their birthday party at The Play Place. M & R were born one day apart from each other, so his mom and I decided to have a dual birthday party! It worked out great! Dream Cakes make the cupcakes and smash cakes and the kids enjoyed eating pizza, making new friends, and playing hard!

Here is the Birthday Girl

Look at all the fun we had!

It was a crazy morning getting ready for the party...it SNOWED!!! Manze stood at the window saying, "snow...it cold...pretty snow!" Since we were running around getting ready, I never thought to stop and take her outside to "play" in the snow! I'm so mad at myself! Oh well...I won't make that mistake again! THANKS to everyone who came to the party! Manze had a BLAST!!!!

Party time at Mrs. Beth's house

Manze celebrated her birthday at Mrs. Beth's house! Mommy brought cupcakes (Suzanne Barnette made the precious ladybug cupcakes) and Richard's mom brought cookies (Richard's birthday was the next day)! The kids ate pizza (Manze's FAVORITE food) and had lots of sugar for dessert! They had fun!
Here is Manze after her birthday celebration...snoozing away!

Manze is 2!!

Wow, where has TWO years gone?? I can't believe my baby is 2! After a long day (pushing for 2 1/2 hrs...there were 9 babies born in the hopital that day and she was the 9th) Manze Elizabeth Ball came into this world on January 18, 2006 at 4:31 p.m. She was 6 lbs. and 19 1/2 in. long! She has been the light of my life ever since! I thank God for her everyday! Here are a few pictures from her birth and from today!

Here I am in all my glory at 5:00 a.m. getting ready to leave for the hospital to be induced! Manze was taken two weeks early because she was so small and she was not growing and gaining weight like she was supposed to! She was a small baby at 6 lbs. (and is still small and petite) but she is feisty and full of energy! I don't think I slept much that night and I woke up at 4:00 a.m. in anticipation of my sweet baby girl arriving!
Here is our first family picture

At home with my sweet baby girl!
Here is Manze this morning! I told her I wanted to take a picture of her in her #2 shirt and her crown! She said, "okay!" and lowered her head so I could take a picture of her crown! LOL!
I have a 2 year old!!! :o)

Princess Manze

Manze's cousin Alexa (a.k.a. Loo Loo) sent Manze a princess birthday box in the mail! She sent the sparkling pink shoes, the tutu, a bag of suckers (we had to immediately open one and eat it), a fairy princess wand, colors and a coloring book, and a Hello Kitty movie!!! Boy was she excited to open her package! Here's a huge shout out to Manze's favorite Cousin Alexa! THANK YOU!!

Silly Girl!!

Here are some funny pictures of Manze! The first one is of her in my glasses! I have to do a better job of hiding them from her! She loves to find them and bend them (and they are NOT the bendable kind)! Don't worry, I snapped the picture then took them away from her!

Santa brought Manze several things for her baby dolls (stroller, car seat, high chair, swing, and pack-n-play)! She thinks they are for her too and loves to get in the pack-n-play! I've had to put it up for now...I don't want her to break it! She looks like a giant in that little pack-n-play!

Pump it Up

Here is Mrs. Beth's crew at Pump it Up over the holidays! They had a blast and all us moms were EXHAUSTED when we left! Manze LOVED the slide and went down it over and over again! She's ready to go back!

FRIENDS

Over the Christmas holiday, Manze, Richard, Wes, and Emma (all friends and go to Ms. Beth's together) got together to eat at Chick-fil-a and go to Pump it Up! Well, when we got to Pump it Up (10 minutes after it opened), they had already met capacity and we were turned away! Bummed, we left to go home! Michelle (Richard's mom) saved the day and invited everyone over to their house to play! They had so much fun and it was hilarious to see everyone get very territorial over their toys! An hour later it was nap time and off we went! The next day we were in line at Pump it Up 20 minutes before it opened! We got in! WAHOO!! (Thanks Cindy, I stole this collage from your page)!

Christmas Day 2007

I am FINALLY posting about Christmas...better late than never! I was really lazy (or just out of time) and made a bunch of collages! Click on them to make them bigger and you can see the pictures better! Manze had so much fun and so did we just watching her this Christmas! Santa gave her a kitchen and a bunch of stuff for her baby doll! Now she picks up her kitchen phone and calls Santa to thank him! She loves to cook in her new kitchen and is constatnly "cooking" us food! You can see in the collage that she likes to eat on her little counter area! A good time was had by all!

Christmas Eve 2007

Manze had a BLAST this year and LOVED opening up presents! Here are a few pictures of her on Christmas Eve at my parents house!

New Christmas Pajamas

It is a tradition that we get new pajamas on Christmas Eve to wear to bed. Here is Manze getting her hair blow dried by Mimi and modeling her new Christmas pajamas!

Almost "night night time"

Here is Manze before bedtime reading with my brother and (boy does she have him whipped) and playing with a few toys (trying to procrastinate bedtime)!

Twas the Night Before Christmas!

It is a tradition that we read the book Twas the Night Before Christmas on Christmas Eve. Here we are with Manze in her new pajamas reading the story at my parent's house (in my old room) before bed!

Visiting the City of Lights

Tommy and I took Manze to Canton to see the lights and ride some rides right before Christmas! Of course, we waited until the weather was freezing again to go! We didn't stay as long as we wanted because it was FREEZING!!!!
*Chrismas pics to come soon (to my 3 friends that read my blog, ha, ha)
