GO DAWGS!!!!

I'm so excited about the game tonight! The first game of the football season is always exciting! I'm hoping my bulldogs do well! I dressed in my maroon MSU shirt today (I forgot to dress Manze in her cheerleader uniform...what was I thinking??) and there was a lot of excitement at school! Of course, one of my students is a HUGE LSU fan (or her parents are) and she was dressed to the "t" in LSU garb! I wanted to get a picture of us together so bad, but I forgot to borrow a camera! My camera is still broken and it is killing me! I'm missing all kinds of great pics! Anyway, GO BULLDOGS!!!!

Welcome to the world Jane Claire Lowe

My friend Cathy just had her baby last night and I am so excited!! Jane "Claire" Lowe was born at 7:30 p.m. She was 6 lbs. 9 oz. and 20 1/2 in. long! Everyone is doing great! We can't wait to see this sweet baby in person!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Last day of Swim Lessons!

Here is Manze with her very first swim instructor, Miss Erin! She was wonderful! We loved having her teach Manze swim lessons and we loved getting to know her! Manze was too busy watching the bog kids swim in the big pool to pay attention to the camera! She had her last lesson tonight at Maley Swim School and she had a BLAST!!

High School Musical 2

I have become a huge High School Musical fan! That's not hard considering I'm a 2nd grade teacher!! My students were so pumped up about the premiere of High School Musical 2 Friday night they could hardly contain themselves Friday! They were telling me all about the HSM parties they were going to! Since they behaved themselves all week and we got all our work done, I let them watch High School Misical on Friday! I wish I had brought my video camera. The girls were singing every song and you could definitely tell no one has had vocal lessons..ha, ha, ha! They were so cute! Manze and I went to a HSM party ourselves! We had a blast and Manze danced to the songs! We ate "Bop to the Top" tacos, "We're all in this together" milkshakes, and "Get Your Head in the Game" cookies! It was great! We can't wait for High School Musical 3 to come out! If you haven't seen any of the HSM movies, you need to! They are really cute!!

Just Hanging Out

Manze crawled up on the couch and sat mesmerized watching Kipper (she LOVES that dog)! She just laughs and laughs and laughs at the t.v. when Kipper is on! I find that amusing considering Kipper is a dog with a British accent, but she loves it! She got a hold of my sunglasses and started playing with them!

HELP!

I know...you're saying, "Robin that is the same exact picture you just posted!" Well, I've been trying to figure out how to make a profile picture and this was the only way how! The other picture was too big! When I read the directions, it said that once I made my profile picture, I could delete my picture. When I tried that I got the big red x on the my profile picture! If anyone knows what I'm doing wrong, let me know!!!!

Swimming Lessons

Here are some pictures of Manze at swimming lessons! She usually LOVES the water and doesn't want to leave swim lessons, but she was tired that day (I picked her up early from the babysitter and she had to be woken up from her nap...a mistake I will NOT make again). My mom tried to get some good pics, but it was hard because she was so fussy! In some of the pictures she is riding the yellow duck!

My friend Jodi just started her own blog! She has a precious little boy named Kanon who is 7 weeks younger than Manze! Manze and Kanon are "boyfriend and girlfriend!" I could not figure out how to steal a picture of him from her blog because she has a slideshow, so you will have to check it out yourself! He is so cute!!!!

My camera is BROKEN!!!! AHHHHH!!!

Well, my camera is broken, so I am posting a picture of Manze that I took at the beginning of the summer! I love this picture and she is so happy! I am sick that my camera is broken for so many reasons! I have not been able to get some memorable pictures of Manze's first days at the new babysitter (Mrs. Beth) and my students are coming Friday, so I need pics of the first day! My sweet mom is going to let me borrow her camera for a while until I get mine fixed! Manze had swim lessons today at Maley swim school and my mom (Mimi) came and took some pictures of her. Manze has been going to swim lessons all summer and I have not taken one picture! I'm such a bad mom...I was also supposed to spend this summer updating her baby book and I didn't do that either! Manze and I were just having too much fun together to worry about anything else! As soon as I get her swim lessons pics I will post them!

Finally a blogger!!!!

The Ball's are finally in the blog world! After discovering the blog world through my friend Cathy, I've become addicted! I've spent all summer "stalking" other peoples blogs and telling myself that I needed to start a blog! Well, now that school has officially started back for me (today) and I don't have nearly the time on my hands I had this summer, I'm starting our page! Go figure! It was really hard to go back today and leave Manze after spending all summer with her! She started a new babysitter and I was so nervous! I shouldn't have been! I dropped her off this morning and she immediately started playing. She wasn't even concerned about me leaving...she didn't even cry (like I thought she would). While I am so happy she did so well at the babysitter, I have to admit my feelings were a little hurt that she wasn't even sad to see me go! I guess everyone is right when they say the parents take it harder then the kids! When I came to pick her up I was told that she could really pack in some food...(2 blueberry pancakes for breakfast, chicken nuggets, half a banana, and puffs for lunch, and lots of cookies...ha, ha, she does not eat that well for me. Now, why is that I say? My camera is broken, so I didn't even get any pictures of her first day! I will have to fix that!
